Rudolf Weber
Principal
Rudolf Weber is a senior leader and business consultant with very broad and deep experience in manufacturing, professional services and sales in the high-tech electronics industry. He has proven to be a valuable leader of cross-functional initiatives for companies that seek to improve the way they are introducing, manufacturing and selling their products. Most recently he was a business consultant within Agile Software Inc. helping customers to capitalize on opportunities in collaborating across their product generation- and supply-network.
Responsible for the HP-Consulting supply chain management (SCM) business in Germany he was among the pioneers to define market and sell a service portfolio around business processes and IT solutions in the SCM space. As a Manufacturing Process Consultant he built a team of manufacturing experts in Europe that helped the customers of HP Test and Measurement (now Agilent Technologies) improve their business results. Rudolf and his team helped clients improve their operational strategy, optimize their designs for manufacturing, introduce new products on time, and develop strategies for make or buy decisions. His ability to bring together the technical and the business aspects of complex projects was honed during his time as Project Manager for HP Test and Measurement. During this period he gained first-hand insight into building and managing a supplier network for outsourced high value-added services.
At HP computer manufacturing, Rudolf served as an engineering manager for the German printed circuit assembly factory. With his team he developed several key manufacturing technologies and managed multi-million dollar world-wide technology programs for the group. In this function he developed his expertise in process management, strategic planning and outsourcing. International assignments for new product introductions and transfers preceded this phase and laid the foundation for his skills in managing cross-functional multi-cultural teams.
Rudolf holds a degree (Diploma) in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart including a minor in Electrical Engineering.
