Jeff Gould is an experienced and successful leader in building and managing world-class manufacturing and supply chain organizations for high-mix technology businesses. He consistently blends strategic insight with operational realities to deliver practical business solutions to difficult problems in the design and performance of supply chains, organizations, and key processes. Jeff is recognized as an outstanding facilitator and coach who is highly effective in leading dispersed teams to achieve the cross-organizational collaboration needed for project or operational success in major supply chain re-engineering, outsourcing, new process and high technology introductions.
Jeff has a diverse high technology background spanning electronic products, systems, semiconductors, microelectronics, and software businesses in both technical and operational senior management roles. He readily understands opportunities and constraints presented by an organization’s technology on business problems and decisions. A “hands-on” leadership style and excellent communication skills rapidly earn the respect of new teams and partners.
Over 34 years with Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies has produced a wealth of experience in all aspects of low-volume, high-mix electronics manufacturing. He has managed a wide variety of manufacturing organizations, large and small, local and global, hardware and software, as well as R&D and marketing teams. Jeff has been order fulfillment manager for world-wide instrument and custom system businesses in excess of $200M+ and global supply chain manager for a $1B+ precision instrumentation group. Throughout his career, Jeff has guided and championed pioneering changes in JIT, inventory optimization, outsourcing, design-for-supply-chain, planning, procurement, systems fulfillment and other advanced supply chain management processes and practices and related IT investments. He has been accountable for the manufacturing introductions of many complex new products and technologies. A skilled problem solver, he was Agilent’s senior development manager for all supply chain aspects of its advanced global ERP project, assessment to implementation and process re-engineering, on over 30 sites world-wide.
Jeff holds an MBA in international business from the University of Santa Clara, California, and a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
