Diana Hoffman, JD is a serial entrepreneur who brings years of experience as a CEO/Founder to her work helping companies commercialize technologies, expand operations, and increase operational effectiveness in pursuing global markets. Ms. Hoffman provides both the network to leverage relationships with content experts/ stakeholders and the hands-on expertise to engage all levels of a company in achieving results.

 

Recently, Ms. Hoffman was CEO of CREATE Tech Village Corporation, a for profit company that links local and regional entrepreneurs in key emerging markets with Fortune 1000 companies and US academic institutions. She was a featured Speaker at the Americas Competitiveness Forum in Atlanta, GA in June of 2007 where more than 30 countries of the Western Hemisphere were represented. Ms. Hoffman also is a powerful catalyst and liaison in infrastructure development. Ms. Hoffman was Founder, CEO/President and Chair of the Board of EnviroSystems, Inc. where she brought innovative clean technology and resulting products from concept to market introduction. Ms. Hoffman has thirty years of business experience in both start up and established high technology and bio-medical companies. She is highly experienced on domestic and international policy, business development, and operational issues. As founder, owner and managing partner of a Silicon Valley law firm for over 20 years, Ms. Hoffman was responsible for overall management, growth and development of that firm. In 2005, she created an immediate response across multiple government agencies and private sector companies in developing and coordinating the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts.

 

She received the 2007 Congressional Order of Merit, both the 2006 and 2005 Businesswoman of the Year from the NRCC Business Advisory Council, the 2004 Trailblazer Award from the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs and was asked by the White House to speak on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on the Corporate Responsibility Panel at the 2002 Economic Summit in Waco, Texas. In March of 2002, the White House recognized EnviroSystems’ contribution to the disaster relief efforts at the World Trade Center and the bio-terrorism crisis. Ms. Hoffman was selected for the trade mission to Mexico led by Secretary of Commerce, Donald L. Evans to promote NAFTA and trade relations between the US and Mexico.

 

Ms. Hoffman plays an active role in such organizations as Univ. of Calif. Davis External Research Advisory Board, National Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing, Board of Trustees for National Youth Leadership Forum, Alliance of CEO’s, C200 Growing Entrepreneurs Mentoring Program, Council On Competitiveness, WITI (Women In Technology International). Ms. Hoffman earned a J.D. from Lincoln University Law School and a BA from San Francisco State University.
